The lack of things to do makes your mind wonder and that is normally not good for our spirits. We continue not to know where we are in the process so all decisions remain on hold. This is making our orphanages itchy as in the old process they receive their money (which is considerable) on the 7th day we are in country. The orphanage directors can't understand what our embassy is doing and therefore what we are doing. We are trying to keep all sides happy.
The meeting between the Ministry here in Nepal and our representative went well. The Ministry expressed its displeasure with the U.S. process and felt insulted that they are not trusted. The rope is becoming tense between our governments over this matter and there are 13 families holding the knot in the middle.
We hope to give you something besides - no news - send prayers - and thank you, but right now, that is all we have. We miss you all very very much!
WE miss you too, and are praying for joyful resolution.
