Orphan Status Approved

We received an email this morning from the embassy in New Delhi, India informing us that our child does in fact meet the definition of an orphan. There is still more in the process. We will return to Nepal and formally adopt, obtain a medical exam, and have an interview with the embassy in Kathmandu. Regardless of what we have to do, we are relieved that this portion of the process is behind us.

Once we finalize our travel plans we will let everyone know. Like before you can follow the remainder of this portion of our journey on this blog.

Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as there are still a few hurdles in front of us.
